The 3 C's of Grief

The three Cs of grief are choose, connect, and communicate.  These can help you navigate grief and manage your emotions.

 

 

Choose

 

  • Make decisions about what you want to do, who you want to be with, and what events you want to attend 
     
  • Recognize that you have the option to say no to events that might increase your pain 
     

Connect 

 
  • Stay connected with others and don't isolate yourself
  • Find comfort in connecting with people who can support you

 

Communicate 
 
  • Express your needs and feelings to others
  • Discuss your choices with people who are affected by them
  • Understand that everyone deals with grief differently

 

Grief is a personal experience, and there's no right or wrong way to grieve. It's important to allow yourself time to heal and move through the process at your own pace.
